Wailea Medical Center & Urgent Care is Closed

To All of My Patients,

I am writing this letter to notify you that effective May 31, 2018, I will be retiring from my private practice known as Wailea Medical Center. My staff and I want to personally thank you for entrusting your healthcare to us these many years.

As a bridge to full retirement, I will be working at Minit Medical in Kihei as an urgent care physician starting in June 2018. The clinic is located across Times Supermarket in Kihei (the old Kihei Urgent Care), and it will tentatively open on June 7, 2018. Medicare and most Hawaii insurances such as HMSA, Kaiser, HMAA, UHA, and Tricare, are accepted. Xray is located there as well as IV hydration therapy to meet all of your urgent care needs.

You may be contacted by your healthcare insurance company to offer assistance in finding another primary care physician, or you may call my office to get recommendations. Many thanks once again for allowing me to care for you and your ‘ohana, as a physician and for many of you, as a friend also. I hope to see you for your future urgent care needs at the new clinic in Kihei.

Mahalo,
Annelle Onishi, M.D.
